1. What 3 songs make you want to cry in your 'green' beer? There are a few different ways that I could interpret this question, sad songs, songs so bad that they make me want to cry, songs that remind me of unhappy times... For the sake of continuity, I have decided to list my favorite sad songs.
1) Eye To Eye - The Scorpions Klaus and Rudolf wrote this beautiful song in memory of their deceased fathers. Certainly anyone who has lost someone she loved (and who hasn't?) can appreciate this one.
2) Candle In The Wind - Elton John (Both Versions) Whether he is singing this tribute to Marilyn Monroe or Princess Diana matters not to me. The emotion contained within is sure to bring a tear to my eye.
3) Your Wildest Dreams - The Moody Blues Perhaps the video is more responsible for my reaction to this than is the actual song, but it was so sad. It imprinted itself on my mind. I can't hear the song without thinking of it!
2. Name at least one song that makes you want to get up and dance a jig. I don't know that there are any songs that make me want to dance a jig. For that matter, I'm not even sure how to dance a jig! But there are several songs that make me want to get up and dance, such as... Bob Seger's Old Time Rock 'N Roll, The Beatles' Twist And Shout, The Villiage People's Y M C A, and Chubby Checker's The Twist to name just a few.
3. If the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow would be filled with CDs...what would you find there? The pot would be filled with brand new, mint condition CDs of the complete works of the following artists, including bootlegs and box sets! The Scorpions, Neil Young, The Monkees, The Beatles, George Harrison, The Moody Blues, Elton John, Def Leppard, Cheap Trick, Chicago, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon, Poison (with the original cover on Open Up And Say Ah), Clint Black, and Phil Collins (Including his work with Genesis).
