This shot was taken through the windshield as we emerged from the Liberty Tunnels. It offers further proof that the sun really does never shine in Pittsburgh, at least not when I am there.
"The estranged one" came home from the hospital last night, so this trip was purely for pleasure, with the added plus of someone else driving! After the insanity that was this week, I needed some time to stop and smell the flowers. That is exactly what I did today. The trip was to Phipp's Conservatory, home of countless beautiful flowers! I did a bit more photographing than smelling, so be certain to visit Photographs & Memories to see my pictures from the conservatory and of the many other oddities seen on the streets of Pittsburgh, PA!
More insanity promises to come in the following week, as "the estranged one" goes back into the hospital for surgery, so I enjoyed this day of respite from the madness...
