Starsky & Hutch is the top selling DVD this week. With that in mind, this week the topic is TV shows that have been turned into movies.
1. What movie based on a television show is your favorite? Actually, it was being aired tonight on TNT! I loved the movie version of Wild Wild West. They did a great rewrite of an old script, and although the cast was much different from the original, they were able to pull it off quite well.
2. Your least favorite? That would have to be Charlie's Angels. The original cast had some class. The ones in the movie were more like Charlie's Bimboes!
3. What television show would you like to see turned into a movie? The words Law And Order: The Movie Keep popping into my mind. They've done a made for TV movie, but that's not good enogh for me. I wanna see this man on the big screen!
Bonus~ Should the actors that portray these characters on TV also be used in the movie? Or would you like to see different actors? That would depend upon how the movie was written. If it is going back into the original time frame of the show, then a new cast is probably a must, especially if a lot of time has passed since the series aired. If we are moving into the future with the movie, then it is also great if the original cast can be reunited!
