Amusement Parks
1. Which amusement park is your favorite?
Anyone who lives in my area is familiar with the signs that look something like this...
It just isn't summertime if you don't go there at least once!
2. Are you the kind of person who loves to go on most rides or just a select few?
I'm just a big kid at heart. I love amusement park rides, especially roller coasters. I ride just about all of the rides in the park at least once.
3. What is the scariest ride you've ever been on?
I can still remember the first time that I rode the Steel Phantom.
I could see my car parked in the upper lot as I went up the very first hill. It felt as though I would never reach the top. It was terrifying, but FUN!
They have since then revamped this coaster and given it a new name, The Phantom's Revenge. They took out the loops!
That first hill is unchanged, though!
4. Do you prefer rollercoasters, water rides or the kind that go round and round?
I think that I've already said it. I love roller coasters! My favorite one would have to be this old standard.
The Thunderbolt at Kennywood.
It was once listed at #2 on a list of the world's best roller coasters.
5. What is the longest amount of time you would stand in line to get on a ride?
I get antsy when I have to stand in line for longer than a half hour or so, but if it's a good ride I will wait indefinitely. Once I'm in line, I don't get out unless the ride closes before I get on it.
