So, could you spot the lie in yesterday's Mind Hump?
I did, in fact, lose my skirt during rehearsals for Anastasia, so #1 is not a lie.
I can read Spanish fairly well, and I can navigate German websites fairly well, but speak only English, so #2 is not a fabrication.
That leaves #3! I wanted to name my youngest either Matthew or Matthias, but his father did not like either name. He suggested Michael. I agreed, since I am quite a fan of Michael Crawford, so he would be my son's true namesake. When my friend's husband learned that I had named my baby Michael, he proudly announced that the child had been named after him. Since he was terminally ill at the time, I didn't have the heart to tell him that he hadn't even crossed our minds when we chose our son's name. He went to his grave believing that he was our son's namesake. And that's the truth!
