My sons came home early from ther day with their father (AKA the estranged one) yesterday. I thought this was quite odd, especially considering the fact that their grandma was having a graduation picnic for my oldest. I was not expecting them home until late, at least 10:30 or 11:00. It seems that their father had other plans, plans which he would not discuss with his children, but it seems that they are onto him anyway. Following is a summation of the conversation that I had with my youngest son last night.
Michael: I figured out where dad is going all of those times when he won't tell us.
Me: Oh, really? Where?
Michael: He's not going out drinking or playing cards.
Me: Then where IS he going?
Michael: Remember what you said about when he was living in Uncle Dave's house?
Me: Yeah, that he had a girlfriend living with him...
Michael: *nods*
Me: He has a girlfriend?
Michael: We're pretty sure.
Michael: Davey has seen him with her a couple of times.
Me: I see.
Michael: Please don't say anything. He'll know that I told you and get mad at me.
So, there I have it. Even more grounds for divorce from that miserable, worthless, no good, cheating bastard! The problem is that I need someone else to catch them together. I don't want to get my sons or my nephew into any trouble with him.
I also wonder what kind of lies he is feeding to the woman he is seeing. He's probabably telling her all about his evil wife who won't let him see his kids if they get divorced, or something like that. Ha! I say. I would do just about anything to be rid of him. He is the one who promised to make trouble if I filed for divorce. I really would like to meet this woman, just to tell her that she could have him. That would blow all of his lies straight to hell, leaving him with no one. It would serve the bastard right...
