1. How do you take care of yourself when you're sick? Do you keep pushing yourself, or do you take the time to rest? When I'm sick, I am usually forced to medicate myself to the max and keep on working. It's not that I want to or that I don't have enough sick leave (I have over three months of sick leave stockpiled!). My problem is that every time that I'm really sick there is no one to fill in for me at work. Even though our contract states that I am supposed to have my own substitute carrier, in the six and a half years that I have been a regular carrier not a single attempt has been made to hire one for me!
2. Time to get into this debate finally: What's your take on gay marriage? Do you think the California Supreme Court's decision to void all the marriages that took place was just? Why/Why not? Let's see. A gay couple functions in the same way that a heterosexual couple does, so why should they not be extended the same privileges? Don't go spouting any Old Testament biblical bullshit about this at me. This is America. We are supposed to have separation of church and state. Any ban on gay marriages is unconstitutional, if you don't like it then move your homophobic butt someplace else.
3. Are you a cat or dog person? Or an all-animal person? Could you live without a pet? Why/Why not? Would you ever want to *be* a pet? I love all animals. They are so much better than people. I can't imagine ever not having a pet of some sort. Even when I lived in a college dorm, I managed to sneak in a hamster to keep as a pet. As for being a pet, I wouldn't mind being reincarnated as a house cat! What a life they have, lying around the house all day!
Bonus Question for Comments~ Who are some of your favorite comedians? Why? I suppose that Brad Sherwood tops my list because I met him and he is a really nice guy!
A really bad picture of me and my sister with Brad!
I also like George Carlin. His bit about the words you can't say on television is an absolute classic!
