This week's Top Five takes us on a musical journey...
Top five songs with "places" in the title. (Cities, States, Countries etc..even if they don't exist)
1. Nightmare Avenue - The Scorpions You just knew that the number one seat had to go to these guys, didn't you?
Matthias proves once again that he can write one hell of a song... as long as he lets Klaus write the lyrics!
2. California Freedom - Wild Horses I just can't get enough of this band which features Scorpions' drummer, James Kottak. This particular song is one of their best. They're quite fond of using places in their songs, as you'll see farther down the list!
3. Paradise City - Guns 'N Roses The lead singer for this band is Axl Rose, just in case there are any more morons out there who think that it is Brett Michaels!
4. Vancouver Mover - Wild Horses Gotta love the rhyming couplets in this tribute to a lady from "The Great White North..."
"Sexy glance Table dance..."
5. My City My Town - The Scorpions It may not name a specific place, but I just had to complete the list with one of the very few kick-ass rockers that Klaus wrote all by himself...
