Getting Ready For Game Time

Looking around me, everything seems to echo of the glory days of the 70's. The bitter cold and snow have arrived just in time for the AFC championship game in Pittsburgh. Steeler merchandise can be found in every store imaginable, from department stores to grocery stores to florists! Steeler fans, including myself are psyched! I hope this is an omen.

Being the armchair quarterback/coach that I am, I'd like to offer the following advice to the team:

Your regular season play was fantastic. Everything that you did seemed to work perfectly. Last week's game did not reflect your regular season play. Why? Because you approached it differently. You let the idea that it was a play off game dominate your play. You must not do that this week. You have beaten this team earlier in the season. You can do it again if and only if you remember to play as you did during the regular season. Play this game like there IS a tomorrow. It was the way that you played during the regular season that got you here. To use an old cliché, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

With that little rant concluded, all that I have left to say is...

Here we go, Steelers! Here we go!
