It's that time again. It's time to dance the Mambo. Are you wacky enough to dance it with us? I bet you are! After all, if this guy is crazy enough, we have to be too!
I'm going to get us warmed up with a little "I say...You think..." musical style.
dance: Dance-a-thon club: Metropol, I miss that club... Saturday night: Saturday Night Fever. I betcha everybody gives the same answer on this one! strobe: Strobe lights boogie:Jungle Boogie . I remember that song from my high school days. I think it was by Jethro Tull. fever: We're back to Saturday Night Fever. I'm in a rut! jazz: The Jazz Singer, a movie that was remade starring Neil Diamond. chorus: A Chorus Line, one of the musicals that I was supposed to see during my 1980 trip to New York, but didn't.
Now it's time to get the Mambo on. Are you all ready?
1. Have you ever done any line dances like the electric slide or the Macarena? I am terrible at those things. I always seem to forget what I'm supposed to do next or turn in the wrong direction, or... You get the picture!
2. Do you like to dance? Sure, just as long as no one is watching!
3. Where's your favorite place to dance? At home, alone, in a locked room, with no one watching!
4. When you dance, what's your favorite kind of music to dance to? Anything bouncy and upbeat. Music from the 60's makes for good dancing.
5. What one dance best describes your personality? I don't know that there is one, so I'll make one up! The bitchy boogaloo! Give me a couple of days and I might be able to devise some steps for it!
