I thought that I'd try a new meme today. Since today's Daily Dirt seems to fit so well into what is going on right now, I think I'll give it a whirl!
Fear Factor II...
1. What was one of your childhood fears? Like most children, I was quite afraid of darkness and the monsters which dwelt within its depths. I remember being particularly frightened by a red dress that was hung on the closet door. I was quite certain that it turned into a demon when the lights went out!!!
2. Do you still have that fear? I wouldn't say that I'm afraid of the dark anymore, but I still don't like it. Total darkness leaves me feeling very disoriented. I sleep with a night light.
3. Did you think any of your childhood fears were silly? Oh, come now! I was afraid of a red demon dress hanging on the closet door. I don't think it gets much sillier than that!
4. What's the silliest fear/phobia you've ever heard of? I've heard of people who fear all sorts of things that sound rather silly, stuffed toys, their own reflection, etc. Although these fears sound rather silly, I am certain that they are no laughing matter for the people who must deal with them on a daily basis.
5. Currently, do you have any fears? If so, what are they? I am currently fearing the armed and dangerous criminal lurking in the woods near my home and workplace.
