My Christmas Rant!
On this day of celebration, the "Closet Christian" feels the need to take a step out of her refuge. Let us all not forget that Christmas is not about gifts, Santa Claus, extravagant light displays, beautifully decorated trees, or even about chocolates and turkey! Christmas is about the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ some 2000 odd years ago. We must all keep this first and foremost in our hearts. The other stuff is great. I enjoy it as much as anyone, but it must not block out the true meaning of the holiday which is that on this day long ago the savior was borne into this world as a man.
