You win the prize for breaking my heart. We've never met, and probably never will, but you still managed to do it. I've gotta give you credit for that. What I don't understand is why....
Allow me to explain. On The Sorpions Official Website you claim that your favorite colors are blonde, brunette, and red. You say that your favorite place is your bed. You do not mention being married to anyone (all of the other "attached" band members name their wives/girfriends). You also claim to dislike dishonesty and sleazy people. From this it seemed logical to deduce that you were divorced from first wife Susanne and now just liked to spread the love around. I was okay with that, I might even say that I understood, commitment is not all that it's cracked up to be. I learned that from my own bad marriage.
I also noticed that after your divorce from wife number one, you started thanking a woman named Beate on all of the albums along with your son. Since you do not claim a committed relationship with anyone, I assumed that this woman was your mom, or your sister, or perhaps just a close friend. I never dreamed that she was your wife, after all, not mentioning that you had remarried would be dishonest and quite sleazy. I assumed that you liked yourself. Obviously, I was mistaken...
Your deception was revealed today as I stumbled across a site that said you were married. I assumed that it was out of date until I came across a photo of you with the aforementioned, Beate, from this year's tour. You were wearing a wedding ring, a ring that is conspicuously absent from your hand in all other photos. However did this one get by you? This bottle blonde is obviously your wife. Why couldn't you just admit it yourself? The fantasies of your female fans could withstand a wife. There is no good reason for this deception, and deception it is!
So, I ask myself, was your failure to mention that this woman an oversight? I think not. The band info on the site has been updated many times since first I visited, your wife's name could have easily been added on any of these occasions. This leads me to believe that there could be only one reason for the omission, it makes it easier for you to cheat on her if women don't know that you're married! It could even be an explaination for why she has decided to accompany you on the current tour. She's onto you, honey. Perhaps the end is near...
So, it seems to me that you are quite the sleazy liar, Matthias. How do you live with yourself? What lies do you tell yourself so that you can sleep at night? Dammit, I thought that you were a better man than that!
The funny thing is that despite all of this, my feelings for you haven't really changed. I can almost understand what motivates you. I still believe that we are kindred spirits whom the fates have cruelly separated by many miles. In short, I'll put it in three words that I am certain you will understand...

I sincerely hope that one day you can come to terms with what and who you really are. Like myself, your heart is filled with contradictions. Perhaps you don't even see this yourself. It took me a long time to understand it about myself. Honesty can be a very painful and unpleasant thing, but the truth will truly set you free. Look closely into your heart, the truth lives there. Be honest with yourself, even if you can't be with anyone else, but understand that the truth will always be uncovered in the end.
