When I awakened this morning not much was going on weather-wise. As I made my way to work an hour later, that changed. A light drizzle began to fall. I made it to work without any problems, but shortly after my arrival the drizzle turned to sleet and freezing rain. By the time I left for my daily rounds the temperature had risen and it was but a cold rainy day. All was well for a time until the temperature fell and the rain turned to snow... All of the salt that had been spread for the earlier ice storm had washed away. Snow began accumulating on the roads. Driving became unnerving. I ended up stuck on a patch of ice beneath the snow at the end of someone's driveway when I was a mere four boxes from the end of my route. Jack had to come to rescue me again. ARGH! I am sick of having to bond with Jack! By the time I was ready to make my way home from work all of the offending weather conditions had passed. The road crews had cleared the mess. It still appears calm outside now, but there is supposed to be a bit more snow tonight...
White Christmas, my ass! I am sick of fucking snow! Ah, that felt good!
On a brighter note, I finally got my Christmas tree up. Ain't it pretty?!
