What were some of your favorite songs that you discovered this year, either new or new to you?
Def Leppard's cover of No Matter What, Nickelback's Follow You Home, When Will It End by Wild Horses, a band featuring Scorpions' drummer James Kottak, and Big and Rich's Ride The Cowboy.
How the hell did that country song get in there?!

What new artists did you discover this year?
At my age I'm not very likely to discover new artists, I'm more likely to rediscover old favorites like Cliff Richard and Davy Jones.

I did discover a couple of great local country bands when a friend gave me a concert ticket back in March. They are Blacksmith and The Povertyneck Hillbillies. These two bands put on an incredible show!
