Top Five On Friday

Top 5 guitarists and your favorite song by each guitarist or his/her band.

Hmmmm... I wonder who is going to be in the #1 spot...

5. Rudolf Schenker

Rudolf is responsible for writing most of the music for the band's songs so for him I'll choose No One Like You as a favorite song. The band is, of course, The Scorpions.

4. Steve Clark

I have always loved this late guitarist of Def Leppard fame. A favorite song by this band is Armageddon It

"C'mon, Steve..."

3. George Harrison

No need to mention that his band was The Beatles, but for a favorite song I'll choose one of his solo works, This Song, a humorous little ditty about his legal troubles.

2. Neil Young

Neil has played with Buffalo Springfield and C S N & Y, but my favorite of his songs is one of his solo works, Like A Hurricane, the ultimate proof of his guitar godhood!

1. Matthias Jabs

C'mon, you knew he'd be #1 on my list, didn't you?!

I'll select Tease Me Please Me as a favorite song for him, since he wrote the music for that one. Song #2 for The Scorpions!
