The following questions all begin with: Where you live...
1. ...did you have to turn your clocks forward one hour this weekend? Yes, and I'm feeling the effects of that lost hour...
2. ...what is the price of gasoline? Currently it is about $2.19 per gallon at most station and still rising.
3. ...which natural disasters, if any, do you have to worry about? Nothing too severe in this area. Flooding may cause me difficulty at work, but my home is located on high ground. If I get flooded, we'd better all start builing arks! The thing that worries me the most is the occasional blizzard that we get during the winter months.
4. ...do you have a local newspaper, and if so, do you subscribe to it? Our local paper is The Valley Independent. There is no need for me to subscribe, since it has a website.
5. ...do you subscribe to a local cable company for television viewing? Nope! I have a sattellite dish and I love it!
6. ...what is the speed limit on your road/street? I believe that it is 15 m. p. h. We have lots of children in our neighborhood who use the street as a playground.
7. ...how far do you have to drive to the nearest post office? I never drive to the nearest post office, which is probably about a mile from my home. Instead I drive to the one where I am employed which is about five miles away.
8. ...what is the average temperature in April? According to the people at Yahoo Weather, the average temperature here in April is 62.0° F.
9. ...what is the average temperature in December? I'm tempted to just say "fucking cold!" but since I have the page with the averages up on my screen, I'll give you a more exact answer... 43.0° F. Hmmmm... that's not as low as I thought it would be!
10. ...are your four seasons drastically different from one another? Yes, when you live in the Pittsburgh area you come to expect record breaking lows in the wintertime, -19.0° F (01/12/1982), and scorching heat in the summer, 105.0° (07/20/1930).
