Now, I know that you are thinking that the Moody Blues show has been over for two weeks and there are still no U.S. tour dates scheduled for the Scorpions, what could Lady Starlight possibly be squeeing about? In answer to that I must tell you that all really attractive men make me go, "Squee!" Famous men make me go "Squee!" And if said men are attractive and famous the "Squee!" can be heard for miles... Something happened yesterday that really brought out the "Squee!" in me.
Yesterday was the birthday of one, and only one of the terrible bra tossing twins. No, it was not my birthday, so that leaves my sister. In oreder to celebrate, we decided to venture into the city of Pittsburgh to take in a performance of 1776. We are seen below in all of our finery before leaving to see the show.
C'mon people, do we really look like twins?
We knew very little about the musical that we were going to see, but it did not matter. The reason for this was that cast in the starring role of the show was Malcolm Gets. You may remember him as Richard from the sitcom Caroline In The City. Hmmmm... Lady Starlight has mentioned an attractive man, can you see where this is going?
The show was absolutely delightful. Who would ever have thought that such an amusing show could be made about the signing of the Declaration of Independence! It was humorous, the music was great, and the writers seemed to follow historical facts rather well, although some dramatic license was taken.
After the show, the Terror Twins did what we do best! We waited by the stage door to see who we could meet. Our first victim was Frank Kopcyk. Mr. Kopcyk may not be a looker, but he was fantastic in his role as Ben Franklin. This was cause for me to want a photograph with him.
Mr. Kopcyk's hugs rival those of John Lodge!
As you can see, he seemed to enjoy being accosted by a couple of younger women for photographs.
A bit later, Malcolm Gets emerged from the stage door. Although he had a few friends there, Mr Gets was kind enough to take the time to pose for a couple of photographs with us.
Doesn't the look on my face scream "Squee!"?
