10 songs that sum up your weekend...or were on your weekend playlist...and one picture that relates back. (oh, and if you feel like it, tell us why you picked the songs you did)
It's been a rather interesting weekend for me musically. I discovered a great new band thanks to a friend, bought some new CDs, and watched a movie with a rather interesting soundtrack. Of course, old favorites are always along for the ride!
1. Destroyed By You - Vanilla Ninja 2. Monkey To Man - Elvis Costello 3. Ohio - Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young 4. Rockin' In The Free World - Neil Young 5. Welcome To Wherever You Are - Bon Jovi 6. Shout - The Isaly Brothers 7. In The Summertime - Mungo Jerry 8. Rock You Like A Hurricane - The Scorpions 9. Soul Behind The Face - The Scorpions 10. In Trance - The Scorpions
Song 1 is by the new group that I was introduced to this weekend. I just ordered their Traces Of Sadness CD. I can't wait until it arrives! Song 2 was playing in the car during today's trek to the south hills. Songs 3 - 5 are from the two CDs that I purchased this weekend, Neil Young's Greatest Hits and Bon Jovi's Have A Nice Day (a guilty pleasure of mine). Songs 6 & 7 are from the soundtrack of the movie Wedding Crashers that I rented this weekend. Songs 8 - 10 are those old favorites that I referred to, with song 8 making the list because I had shrimp at TGI Friday's... Remember those commercials?
And now for the picture...
