Quite a while ago it was announced that The Scorpions would be releasing a DVD of a Vienna show from the 2004 Unbreakable tour. As is par for the course on their official website, a link was provided to order it from Amazon. I'm no fan of Amazon.com. I've never had any luck receiving anything that I order from them, and their prices are outrageous! I passed on ordering it there, deciding instead to save myself a few bucks on shipping and wait for it to be sold in stores. Months passed. I checked at Wal Mart, where I had previously purchased Savage Crazy World. There was no sign of the new DVD there. I looked in F. Y. E. and Suncoast where I saw only that Moment Of Glory was still available...
I began to wonder if this DVD really existed.
Today while checking on the status of a CD which I had recently ordered from CD Universe, I randomly decided to search for it there. Bingo! There it was! The catch, it has to be imported from Argentina! GRRRR! It was never released in the U. S., much like the Acoustica CD. Damn my fellow Americans for having taste for crap in music! Pop trash and other such musical garbage is released here in abundance, but an established band like the Scorps can't get released. That's just not right!
I'm making a trip to Borders tomorrow, where I'm told they have a decent stock of imported material. I hope that I find it there. If not, I suppose that the good folks at CD Universe will be getting a little bit more of my hard earned cash...
