Econ-O-Mail!

I delivered this badly damaged package today. Usually I feel pretty bad when I have to deliver a piece of mail in a condition such as this, but this one just made me giggle. Notice the postage rate marking on the left side of the package, Economy, Land (translated, for your convenience). Land?! From Germany to the U. S.?! That must've been a really difficult journey across the Atlantic. No wonder the package is damaged!

Methinks that someone in Deutschland is a cheapskate!
