Hump Day Hunt
It's time for the weekly photo meme from the folks at Foto Pherrets
Someone who forgets what day of the week might feel this way.
Pick a person or a few people that you'd like to tell something in song. Tell us who they are, what song you've chosen for them, and why.
1. For "the estranged one" (I'm syre you all know who he is) My Time's Up - Michael Schenker Group The lyris say it all: "My time's up. Find someone else to keep you satisfied."
2. For Ray, my Austrailian friend who can be just a bit too clingy at times: You're Lovin' Me To Death - Scorpions The title alone pretty much gets the way he makes me feel sometimes across...
3. For the Bush Admiistration... Soldiers Of Peace - Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young These people have a lot to learn about peace.

This weekend was all about my boys buying themselves a Playstation 3, since they finally lowered the price a bit...
Were you ever a member of any "music clubs"? Which ones? Are you still a member? Oh, yes! I was a member of just about all of them at one time or another. As a matter of fact, I belonged to BMG back in the day when it was still the RCA Record Club! Do I still belong to any? No way! They gouge you on shipping, the monthly selections always seem to suck, and they never have enough to choose from...
Columbia House used to offer 12 CDs for a penny. If you could choose 12 CDs what would they be. (Domestic releases only to make it realistic) 1. Lonesome Crow - Scorpions 2. Phenomenon - UFO 3. Daylight Again - Crosby, Stills & Nash 4 & 5 Frampton Comes Alive - Peter Frampton (2 disc set) 6. Caribou - Elton John 7. Trans - Neil Young 8. Days Of Future Past - The Moody Blues 9. Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere - Neil Young 10. Gone Troppo - George Harrison 11. Full Moon Fever - Tom Petty 12. Captain Fantastic & The Brown Dirt Cowboy - Elton John
What would you change about the music clubs? One thing... NO AUTOMATIC SHIPMENTS!!!

My buddy, the wallaby at Critter Country Animal Farm, looking rather bored. Or perhaps it's just a result of all the food I fed him!

Hump Day Hunt
It's time for the weekly photo meme from the folks at Foto Pherrets
Some do it in the shower. Some do it in the car...
Did you have any bands that you were ashamed of liking in your younger days? Hell, no! I'm not ashamed of what I like, never was, never will be. I'm no music snob.
Do you look back on some of the things you listened to and groan? If so, what were they? I listened to a lot of country when I was younger. That's enough to make anybody groan!
Up through the 80's there were a lot of music related tv shows did you watch any? (That weren't on MTV or VH-1) Ummmm... There was No MTV or VH-1 in the days of my youth. I'm ancient! But I watched lots of musical television:
The Monkees The Partridge Family Getting Together American Bandstand Solid Gold
I'm sure there were more, but I can't remember them all. It's been a LONG time!
A good many singers/musicians made films that were pretty awful, but have a cult following, which ones do you like? My all time favorite film of this sort is Help!, but I love all of the Beatles films.
Are any of your youthful guilty pleasures still favorites now? Or do you pretend like you never liked them? I wouldn't say that the music of my youth is among my current favorites, but I do enjoy playing it on occasion and giggling!

Pretty Flower
Seen growing in my... Erm... Michael's flower bed.
What type of music do you find to be the best to sleep to? I have a special sleepy time playlist, mostly acoustic instrumentals... Thank You 3, Thank You 4...., and Adventures Of The Imagination, all Michael Schenker.
Is there any kind of music that you absolutely can't fall asleep to? I've fallen asleep to all sorts of music, but I don't suppose that I'd want to fall asleep to something that I didn't like. It might give me nightmares!
If any one artist could sing you to sleep who would it be and what would he sing to you? No singing, thank you very much. Just Michael Schenker and his guitar, playing At The End Of The Day.
1. Do you do your own laundry or do you send it out? Send it out to where?! One of those stereotypical Chinese laundry places that you see in old TV shows? I don't think that such a thing really exists. I do my own laundry.
2. Do you laundry at your home or a laundromat? I always wash my laundry at home, but occasionally I take the wet garments to the laundromat drying, usually if it's a rainy "laundry day."
3. Are there certain articles of clothing that you need to have dry-cleaned on a regular basis? Jeans and t shirts do not require dry cleaning....
4. How often do you do laundry? Is there a certain day of the week that you consider "laundry day?" Laundry is done strictly on the weekends, usually on the day with the nicest weather.
5. Do you iron your clothes as you pull them out of the dryer or do you wait until just before you wear the clothing to iron? What is this thing that you call ironing?
6. Do you hang your clothes outside to dry or do you dry them in a dryer? I hang them to dry, either outside or in the basement in the winter. My dryer hasn't worked for years...
7. Do you own things that need to be hand-washed or do you try to avoid buying things that you can't wash in the washing machine? Do pantyhose count? Of course they seldom last long enough to be washed...
