1. Currently, what television commercial is your least favorite? E-Harmony! I am SO sick of that guy promising to find me a true soulmate based on 29 proven points of compatibility... Gimme a break!
2. And which commercial is your most favorite? The silly comercial where Robert Goulet comes to mess with your stuff at 3 PM if you don't eat some nuts always makes me giggle.
3. Of the sitcoms that are on during "prime time" how many do you watch on a regular basis? Please share. I watch Two And A Half Men, but that's about it... Most of them are just so unoriginal. They bore me.
4. Is there a television series that you enjoy watching that is ending this season? There have been rumors, but nothing definite. God, I hope not! There are VERY few shows that I enjoy.
5. Is there any type of program you'd like to see more of on television? I miss the variety shows that they used to make in the 60s and 70s. I'd love to see something like that again, but I doubt it will happen. The production costs are too high. That's why they died out.
6. Is there any type of program you'd like to see less of on television? I wish that all of those stupid cheap "reality shows" would just GO AWAY! BLECH!
7. Is there a series that is no longer aired that you wish would come back? Not really, because they'd never be able to bring them back with the same cast... So many of my favorite actors and actresses dead and gone...
8. Do you watch re-runs of anything on television? Can anyone say Law And Order? Oh, and I never fail to watch reruns of my childhood favorites, like I Dream Of Jeannie and Gillgan's Island when I can find them!
10 songs that sum up your weekend...or were on your weekend playlist...and one picture that relates back. (oh, and if you feel like it, tell us why you picked the songs you did)
Doin' my sub a favor this weekend. Gonna have Monday off, but my weekend just started today. I needed some freaky random fare to relax me after my long work-week!
1. Revelation - Helloween 2. He's Gonna Step On You Again - Def Leppard 3. We Built This City - Starship 4. Touch The Hand - Bryan Adams 5. One Robot's Dream - Joe Satriani 6. Hard Times - Eric Clapton 7. Well I Don't Know - Julian Lennon 8. Lonely Nights - Scorpions 9. Metal Queen - Vanilla Ninja 10. Under My Wheels - Alice Cooper
That's about as random as it gets!
And now for the picture...
Sometimes I wish that we could go back to being the pony express, so that I could have a friend like this at work with me every day. I love horses!
Top five classic rock songs that are a classic annoyance to your ears.
1. Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd 2. Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd 3. Silly Love Songs - Paul McCartney & Wings 4. God Only Knows (What I'd Be Without You) - The Beach Boys 5. Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton
Perhaps it is because they've been over-played. Perhaps I just don't like 'em, but if I never heard any of these songs again, it would be too soon!

This Is Good To Know
There's a 20% Chance You've Been Abducted By Aliens
There's virtually no chance you've been abducted by aliens. But there's always hope for the future!
I wish I would have bought what CD? and then I wish I hadn't bought this CD? I wish that I had bought that copy of Lonesome Crow by the Scorpions when I saw it at Borders a few years ago... Ah, a teenaged Michael Schenker playing the first album with his big brother's band... I haven't seen a reasonably priced copy since. I wish that I hadn't bought that German import of the Scorpions' Face The Heat just to get the two bonus tracks. Only one of them was worth listening to...
I wish I had gone to this concert? and then I wish I hadn't gone to this concert? I wish that I had gone to see The Scorpions at PG Paviliuon back in 2002. They haven't been back since... Oh, wait... I tried. I couldn't get tickets. I wish that I hadn't gone to see Billy Joel in Charleston WV back in 1982. He was promoting probably the worst album that heever made and the concert was a real snore-fest (IMHO).
I wish I had bought this piece of memorabilia? and then I wish I hadn't bought this piece of memorabilia? (memorabilia = t-shirts, toys, books etc...) I wish that had bought T-shirts at more of the concerts that I've gone to. I'm such a cheapskate, and I always regret it later. Oh to have a tour shirt for Def Leppard or the Beach Boys... As for what I wish i hadn't bought... The cheapskate really hasn't regretted any of her memorabilia purchases,
1. Name a song you know most (or all) of the lyrics to. I make a point of knowing the lyrics to almost all of the songs that I really enjoy, so cances are, if you see it on my playlist in the sidebar, I know the lyrics.
2. Name a movie that you have watched more than once and would watch again. Star Wars: Return of the Jedi or any of the Star Wars movies for that matter... I'm geeky that way!
3. Have you ever read a book more than once? Please share. Other than for a school assignment, no...
4. Share an inspirational quote with us. Good God! All I can think of are a bunch of AA/NA - isms... Could there be a reason for this? "This, too, shall pass..."
5. What day of the week does (or did) your birthday fall on this year? What is this thing called a birthday? Oh, you mean Buy Lady Starlight A Present Day.... That falls on a Tuesday this year.
6. Have you ever bought a book or cd or movie more than once because you forgot you bought it already? I'm over 40. What do you think? (Yes, dammit!)
10 songs that sum up your weekend...or were on your weekend playlist...and one picture that relates back. (oh, and if you feel like it, tell us why you picked the songs you did)
I bought a whole bunch of CDs this weekend. I could just list a few tracks from each of them, but what would be the fun in that? It's so much more fun to see what Media Player spits out at me!
1. Play It Loud - Saxon 2. Rock Of Ages - Def Leppard 3. Stay - Vanilla Ninja 4. Gods Of War - Def Leppard 5. All Night - Def Leppard 6. The Sky Is Crying - Gary Moore 7. Before You Accuse Me - Eric Clapton 8. Just Like Lightnin' - Joe Satriani 9. The Zoo (Acoustica Version) - Scorpions 10. Fire In The Sky - Saxon
Now that's a crazy mix of metal and blues... I bet those poor little Estonian girls are scared amid all of these guys!
And now for the picture...
Justin, the potato chip eating squirrel, as seen on the first anual trip to Round Hill Park!

Ducks On The River Mon
I like to take pictures of bridges. I also like to take pictures of waterfowl. So, what could possibly be more fun than capturing both of these in a single photograph?!
Taken from the oft' underwater "Aquatorium" in Monongahela, PA. Click to see the duck in a larger version of the picture.
Top five album "killers." (You know, songs that ruined an album in one way or another)
If these songs were the only songs that I'd heard from the albums, I never would have bought the albums...
1. Love Of My Life - Scorpions From Acoustica
2. Maybe I Maybe You - Scorpions From Unbreakable
3. A Moment In A Million Years - Scorpions From Eye II Eye
4. Daddy's Girl - Scorpions Bonus track from the German release of Face The Heat
5. Lady Starlight - Scorpions with the Belinere Philharmoniker From Moment Of Glory
Perhaps I should just call this the worst of the Scorpions. Klaus should quit writing sappy ballads.. And letting guest vocalists sing your songs is just WRONG!

4. For people living in the US: Have you ever traveled outside of the state you were born in? For people living outside of the US: Have you ever traveled outside of your country? I live in the US and have traveled outside of my home state many times and I have also traveled outside my country, to Spain, Morocco, and Canada...

6. How many blogs/online diaries do you have total? Several, but I won't give a number. I still have a few that the nasties haven't found and I'd like to keep it that way.
10 songs that sum up your weekend...or were on your weekend playlist...and one picture that relates back. (oh, and if you feel like it, tell us why you picked the songs you did)
An interesting musical mix to relax to following my first full week at work...
1. Ain't No Way Around It - Faster Pussycat 2. Feelin' Way Too Damned Good - Nickelback 3. Her Majesty - The Beatles 4. Bringin' On The Heartbreak - Def Leppard 5. When You Came Into My Life - Scorpions 6. Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne 7. I Remember You - Skid Row 8. Peace In Our Time - Gorky Park 9. Ticket To Ride - The Beatles 10. Like A Hurricane - Neil Young
The Beatles must feel awfully strange stuck in this random mostly metal mix!
And now for the picture...
How much is that kitty in the window?! She's not for sale! That is our new kitten, Ciatie...

Who Needs A Kitty Bed?
Certainly not my Princess PP!
A basket full of freshly laundered clothing is much more comfortable.
Top five cheesiest and / or worst lyrics ever written
Welcome to the cheese factory!
1. Baby I'm A Want You - Bread "Baby, I'm a want you. Baby, I'm a need you..." What's with all of this "I'm a" crap?!
2. Joy To The World - Three Dog Night "Jeremiah was a bullfrog, was a good friend of mine..." WTF! Half of the world thinks this song is called by its first line.
3. Sugar Sugar - The Archies "Pour some sugar on me, honey..." Can't expect any more than cheese from cartoon characters... I'll forgive them, since they seem to have inspired Joe Elliot of Def Leppard!
4. Addicted To Love - Robert Palmer Everything about this song is cheesy, but in a good way...
5. A Moment In A Million Years - Scorpions Is there anything in the world cheesier than a love song written for the fans?!

Hump Day Hunt
It's time for the weekly photo meme from the folks at Foto Pherrets
Feeling a bit betrayed by weird weather? Mama Pherret is! Perhaps if we remind the weather of the season...
Do you have any friends online or otherwise that you share similar musical tastes with? Yeah, and a few enemies, too!
Have you ever made a new friend because of a band that you both like? One or two, but not many. A lot of the bands that I like have rather unpleasant fans, to say the least...
What's the best musical gift you were ever given by a friend and in return...what is the best musical gift (IYO) that you've given a friend. In both instances the answer is concert tickets, a gift for sharing, really, 'cos they are nearly always bought in pairs with the second ticket going to the giver!
Pick one of your friends...and tell us a few songs that remind you of her...and tell us why you picked those songs. My friend is Maria... My Maria - Brooks & Dunn, for obvious reasons, any song by Vanilla Ninja, because she introduced me to the band...
10 songs that sum up your weekend...or were on your weekend playlist...and one picture that relates back. (oh, and if you feel like it, tell us why you picked the songs you did)
Ah, a relaxing Easter weekend to follow my return to work! Just look at the weird mix my media player had for me this time...
1. Don't Cry For Me Argentina - Julie Covington 2. Get Back - The Beatles 3. While My Guitar Gently Weeps (LOVE version) - The Beatles 4. The Storm - Michael Schenker Group 5. Outside The Rain - Stevie Nicks 6. Take Me Home - Phil Collins 7. Climbing Up Mount Everest - Cliff Richard 8. Him Or Me - What's It Gonna Be - Paul Revere & The Raiders 9. Liar - Vanilla Ninja 10. Blues Power - Eric Clapton
Does it get any stranger than this?!
And now for the picture...
Rubber Duckies were swimming around at Phipp's Conservatory... That's almost as weird as my musical mix!

On The Other Side
Photographic evidence that the old adage is true...
What albums would you be spinning on your turntable? I'm not going to make myself go crazy(er) by trying to remember exactly which albums were released in 1967... I'd definitely be playing albums by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and The Monkees.
What bands would you be dying to see in concert? All of the bands whose albums I'd be playing, of course.
What part of the world would the best music be coming from?
1. Where did you go on your last vacation? Atlantic City, New Jersey
2. Would you go there again? Why or why not? The Atlantic City trip has already become a tradition for my sister and me.
3. How many vacations do you take in one year? If you're only counting overnight trips, one or two...
4. Where would you REALLY like to go on your next vacation, if money was no issue, and how long would you stay? Let's see...
THIS is a major attraction in Wedemark, Germany.
I think that I want to go there and stay FOREVER!
5. Do you put a little money aside each week (or month) to save up for your vacation? I have a certain sum of money from each pay put into my savings account which is used for vacations, Christmas, and other large expenses.
10 songs that sum up your weekend...or were on your weekend playlist...and one picture that relates back. (oh, and if you feel like it, tell us why you picked the songs you did)
Let's see what weirdness I can find on internet radio...
1. Photograph - Def Leppard 2. Who Wants To Live Forever - Queen 3. But The Best For You - Scorpions 4. Love Ain't No Stranger - Whitesnake 5. Angie - The Rolling Stones 6. Hangar 18 - Megadeth 7. Don't Say A Word - Sonata Arctica 8. Carry On Wayward Son - Kansas 9. Freak - Bruce Dickinson 10. Iron Man - Ozzy Osbournre
This is what you get when you combine my musical taste with that of a few friends...
And now for the picture...
There was plenty of water flowing over the falls at Ohiopyle State Park this weekend.
