Perhaps you have noticed that this blog now seems to contain nothing more than memes and blogthings and other such fluff. You may be wondering where all of my personal stuff has gone.
I got tired of Moody Bitches, Polish Princesses, and the like, so I moved all of my personal stuff over to Livejournal where I can lock the freaks out of posts that I don't want them to see.
I also post to another blog that I've created and don't link on my profile page.
Friends may email me for the links to these pages. All others can piss off!
Be aware that if you are not a Livejournal member and on my friends list you may not be able to see or comment on some of my posts.
I shall always keep this blog. It's my baby, but it just ain't gonna be like it was before. At least not for a long time...
2. "Maybe it'll be tomorrow, maybe it'll be years. Good lord, what a mess I've made!" From The Mess I've Made - Michael Schenker Group 'Cos I'm always making some sort of mess!
3. "Now you're messin' with a son of a bitch!" From Hair Of The Dog - Michael Schenker Group If I'm not messin' with some son of a bitch, then some son of a bitch is messin' with me!
4. "I'm gonna trade this life for fortune and fame. I'll even cut my hair and change my name!" From Rockstar - Nickelback An expression of my fondest dreams...
5. "She's just a devil woman with evil on her mind." From Devil Woman - Cliff Richard I always have evil on my mind. Just ask "the Polish Princesses"!

The Great Sulk Has Ended!
Yay! Michael's site is back up and running, minus what I considered to be the "too much information" that had been there before. I can go to bed tonight without worrying about him for the first time in nearly a month.
When Michael sulks, he REALLY sulks! I think it has something to do with the name. A certain son of mine can sulk almost as well as he does...
Let's all celebrate by looking upon this lovely (Uber-Sexy) photo of The King of Sulkiness...
Help! I think that I'm drowning in my own drool!

Hump Day Hunt
It's time for the weekly photo meme from the folks at Foto Pherrets
Autumn had its official beginning earlier this week. Colors shall change and these things shall start to fall.
Our word for this week is:
Leaves
These may be just leaves, but they sure are pretty ones!
1. Layla - Eric Clapton/Michael Schenker (Take your pick!) 2. Amaqnda - Boston 3. Priscilla - The Scorpions
Three artists (I've chosen bands that have one member's name attached to them)
1. Michael Schenker Group 2. Paul Revere & The Raiders 3. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Three albums (Keep in mind that there are things other than people that have names!)
1. New Jersey - Bon Jovi (Name of a state) 2. August - Eric Clapton (Name of a month, more commonly, but also a man's name. My great-grandfather was named August!) 3. Abbey Road - The Beatles (Name of a street)
This week's questions were all contributed by the players...
1. Holiday in Europe or Asia? Europe, all the way! Germany, to be exact. I'm gonna hunt down Michael Schenker and tell him that I love him until he believes me, 'cos he's got a real "nobody loves me" thing going on right now, and I'm worried about him.
2. How do you try to change a behavior pattern you don't like about yourself... whether it's chewing fingernails, overeating, smoking, or picking your nose? Hmmm...I don't bite my nails or pick my nose, and I've got absolutely no desire to quit smoking, but I did lose an awful lot of weight. My method? Take some advice from Nike... Just do it!
3. Have you ever successfully completed a Sudoku puzzle? Ummmm... What the f... is a Sudoku puzzle? I guess that if I don't know what it is, I've never completed one...
4. What website do you visit the most often?
Yes. I'm a neoholic! I love my imaginary pets!
5. What was your favorite thing about high school or college? My favorite thing about high schoool was graduating! My favorite thing about college was... um... ALCOHOL! If there is a single thing that I learned well in college, it was how to get wasted!
10 songs that sum up your weekend...or were on your weekend playlist...and one picture that relates back. (oh, and if you feel like it, tell us why you picked the songs you did)
Nothing is more fun on a boring weekend than putting the good ol' media player on shuffle and listening to the madness that ensues.
Here we go again this week!
1. Flat On The Floor - Nickelback 2. Math Suks - Jimmy Buffett 3. Cocaine - Eric Clapton 4. When You Dance You Can Really Love - Neil Young & Crazy Horse 5. Don't Stop At The Top - The Scorpions 6. Ride My See-Saw - The Moody Blues 7. Seperate Lives - Phil Collins 8. Roy Rogers - Elton John 9. Billy's Got A Gun - Def Leppard 10. The Mess I've Made - Michael Schenker Group
There really is no rhyme or reason to the music selected on shuffle play. I love it!
And now for the picture...

Time For Another Blogthing!
Aside from the fact that I don't drink much beer, unless it's imported from Belgium and thinks that it's champagne, this quiz is fairly accurate...
You Are Olde English
Drinking is more than a hobby for you. It's your favorite drug. When you drink, you want to get wasted. As quickly and cheaply as possible. Looking back on your best times drinking... Well, you don't remember them at all. You may be a few brain cells short, but you still can chug a 40!
Do you like listening to the radio? Why or why not? I wasted three years of my life with a man who worked in Pittsburgh radio. I know a lot of the people. I know the internal politics of the stations. I can't stand listening to the radio...
How many songs can you remember that are about the radio or mention radio in the lyrics or title? Devil's Radio - George Harrison
Video Killed The Radio Star - The Buggles
In Trance - The Scorpions "On the radio the music played, I'm in love with her and I feel fine..."
Fun, Fun, Fun - The Beach Boys "With the radio blastin' she goes cruisin' just as fast as she can..."
Do you have any memories associated with the radio? Time to embarrass a Pittsburgh radio personality... In 1983 WDSY radio had a free picnic/concert at Heartwood Acres. The station's program director at the time was Ron Antil, so of course, he was there. I was also there with my fiancé (thank god I never married him), who worked at the station. There were helium balloons and all manner of other festive goodies at this event. Ron would do ANYTHING for a high, so.... We gave him a helium ballooon and told him that if he breathed in the helium, he'd get high. He just had to try it. You should have heard him when he got on stage to announce the next performer... * giggles *
Have you ever called in a request to your favorite station? Yep, that's how I ended up getting involved with the aforementioned ex-fiancé.
Bonus: If you could request a song right now what song would you pick? Mr. Pittsburgh DJ, I dare you to find any song by Michael Schenker in your collection and play it for me. It can be any of his bands, but old Scorpions tunes (Loving You Sunday Morning) don't count!
1. How do you eat an oreo cookie? I twist it apart and eat all of the "stuff" inside first. Is there any other way to eat an oreo?!
2. How long does it take you to eat lunch? Lunch? What is this thing that you call lunch? I have no time for it...
3. Caffeine or decaf? Isn't caffeine one of the major food groups?!
4. Chicken or beef?
5. Pen or pencil? A pen never needs to be sharpened...
6. Autumn or spring? Spring, because I prefer beginnings over endings...
7. Baseball or basketball? Baseball, because there are at least a few good looking baseball players...
8. 'Survivor' or 'The Amazing Race?' Neither. I hate @*%# reality shows...
9. Come up with one question I can ask our Monday Madness participants in the weeks to come. You've been very good this year. What should Santa bring you for Christmas? (the sky is the limit)
10 songs that sum up your weekend...or were on your weekend playlist...and one picture that relates back. (oh, and if you feel like it, tell us why you picked the songs you did)
What better way to cap off my week away from work than just setting the media player on shuffle and going with it?! A really weird mix will ensue every time! Here's this week's mix...
1. House Of Pain - Faster Pussycat 2. Don't Shoot Shotgun - Def Leppard 3. I Love You Liza - Gary Puckett 4. Don't Do Me Like That - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers 5. This Old House - Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young 6. Signs - Tesla 6. Throw Yourself Away - Nickelback 7. Old Man With Sheep On Mars - Michael Schenker 8. Livin' On A Prayer - Bon Jovi 9. Higher And Higher - The Moody Blues 10. Rockin' In The Free World - Neil Young
I DON'T WANNA GO BACK TO WORK TOMORROW!!!!
And now for the picture...
Sheriff Curl E. Fries was selling spuds at the covered bridge festival at Mingo Creek County Park this weekend.

It's Blogthing Time!
Because I haven't posted the results of any of these very predictable quizzes for quite a while...
You Are a Dare Devil
For you, life is one big dare. And you're all in for any adventure. Others find you exciting, inspiring, and a bit intimidating. You're biggest challenge at this point is trying to top yourself!
Keep in mind that I live in The United States. The albums listed below may or may not have been hits in other parts of the world, but they were not here!
1. Pure Instinct - The Scorpions
One of their best albums ever, but I don't recall ever hearing any of the songs from it until I purchased it.
2. Be Aware Of Scorpions - Michael Schenker Group
If one more person asks me, "Michael who?" I'll pop 'em one! Unfortunately Michael's work remains unheard by those who are not hardcore guitarists or metalheads (I am both). They don't know what they're missing.
3. Traces Of Sadness - Vanilla Ninja
This band of lovely young ladies remains unheard in the U.S., although they are quite popular in Europe. It's a shame that they have no exposure here, because their music is fantastic. Also included on this album is the video for Tough Enough. It's cute, but I guess they're not slutty enough for American audiences...
4. Unbreakable - The Scorpions
The Scorpions' most recent studio album, U.S. exposure.... 0! GRRRRR!!!!
5. Giving Sight To The Eye - Kelly Keeling
If this album had been a hit, maybe I'd be able to find a copy of it somewhere a mere year after its release! I love this bayou boy. His only solo album has got to be good. I WANNA HEAR IT!!!!
Having recently returned home from a weekend on the Jersey Shore, you know that this has to be a photo post!
Thirteen things that I saw in Atlantic City
1. Goonie birds A.K.A. gulls
2. Indoor pigeons!
3. Korean War Veterans' Memorial * sniff *
4. The Absecon Lighthouse
5. Statues!
6. The mighty Atlantic
7. The Rainforest (Café)
8. The Steel Pier
9. Some interesting new "rock stars"
10. Windmills
11. Pretty lights!
12. A firetruck
13. The "fishie" water tower

Hump Day Hunt
It's time for the weekly photo meme from the folks at Foto Pherrets
Having just returned from the Jersey shore, I've been thinking of some famous New Jersey musicians, like Bruce Springsteen...
He had a song called Hungry Heart, so our word for this week is:
Hungry
Look at all of these hungry goonie birds (gulls) standing about, begging for their next meal! Should we feed them?

Fuck You, Mr. Trump!
The Steel Pier Amusement Park has been a part of Atlantic City boardwalk tradition since 1883. It is one of the oldest amusement parks in existence...
This summer is the park's last of operation. Donald Trump is not renewing the lease. The park is not putting enough money in his coffers, or so he claims...
No more midway games.
No more double-decker carosel...
No more kiddie rides.
No more Ferris Wheel.
The park will be razed to make way for condos and high-end shops and restaurants. As if Atlantic City doesn't have enough of those already...
